I recently discovered a wonderful new park in Aveley,
Aviary Creek Park. It is not a place I'd heard about until recently and really wasn't sure what to expect.
Unfortunately, it was a really hot day and I kept dashing from one shady spot to the next trying to keep out of the heat so it was a rushed first visit.
Even so, I was thoroughly impressed with the wildlife I encountered as well as the overall mood of the area.
The water levels still seemed pretty good given it was the end of summer, the plants looked relatively healthy too given the lack of rain over summer.
I noticed a sign to beware of snakes, however I think it was even too hot for them to be out and about.
Now that I know this little slice of paradise is here it is destined to become a favourite place for a walk.

That looks like a great place to enjoy nature and do a little bird watching. I loved that one photo of all the ducks lined up on that branch.
How far is this from you? I loved the pictures. The first one the clouds look like birds.
Beautiful nature photos, Gemel! Thankfully I have never seen a sign "Beware of snakes" in our Montreal nature parks...but they will say that you may come across a dear, a coyote, etc., and to leave them alone as they are enjoying the place just like we are. :)
I meant deer 🦌 😅
