A quick visit to see my favourite highland cow family; they are the only highland cattle that I know of in the Swan Valley. They always take me on a journey down memory lane, to the UK where these cattle were more of a familiar sight.
Dad is a gentle quiet giant, and he likes to keep to himself. It was a rather hot day around mid April if I recall correctly when I last passed their way.
Their field was still dusty, with next to no grasses to nibble on.
Even if they are off in the distance, it doesn't diminish the happiness I get from visiting...
