Timid Lou Lou was nervous upon my arrival to check in on her human, it took a few minutes before I was able to scoop her up and have a cuddle. She's not used to having visitors, it gives her anxiety. Bless her heart.
She ended up curled up on my lap sound asleep in next to no time, her human amazed at how relaxed she was.
Such a boon for the soul when an animal surrenders their trust and falls asleep in your arms knowing that they are safe...
