A quiet walk alone through the equally quiet bushland a fabulous way to end a day, just me and the trees. A deep serenity is felt when in the presence of nature. Strolling along taking in everything seen. In this park of the Korung National Park the foliage is vastly different to that closer to where I live. The elevation is higher, so the flowers here will take a few more weeks until all the wildflowers are in bloom.
There were a lot of vast tree stumps seen, the leftover telltale sign of a devasting fire coming through here in the past.
There was quite a bit of moss, not many fungi though which was a surprise given the dampness of the area...
