Another day, which means more adventures, the first of which was going to check out another unexplored track in the hills. The area had been ravaged by fire at some point in the recent past and the devastation was still clear to see. Many huge trees had been burnt to the ground, and the blackened trunks of those still standing a sobering reminder of how lethal fire is. Not too many plants in the understory, this place did have a rather barren feel...
