Perhaps humanity ought to look to the animal kingdom for lessons in unity and love.
For our animal brothers know the art of acceptance and peace.
They welcome others with open hearts, regardless of colour, or breed.
They are not commanded by ego, they are happy being themselves, living in the moment, enjoying the pleasure of joyful play.
They listen to the wind, loose themselves as a cooling breeze washes over their face, they relish the true riches of living.
They are not concerned with their appearance, or, their self worth, for they know they are truly beautiful and radiant beings just as they are.
They will endure acts of violence and cruelty, not understanding the reason for the behaviour, yet, still they will remain faithful to their quest of sharing the love within, attempting to reach the darkness of the human who torments them.
They know what trust is, and they offer it freely, as that is the way of the heart.................
