Settling Down...

Settling down on a chilly wet winters night is one of my most favourite things in the world. 

Sadly, these beautiful snuggly evenings are now nearly over for another year. 

This year has flown by, and as this season nears it's end, I always wonder what the next chapter will bring.

Life is a little chaotic at the moment, the swirling unsettling energy preceding the closing of one chapter, before the beginning of another. 

It's been a year long lesson of being pushed into doing something that didn't feel right, right from the get go.

I don't really understand why saying no is so difficult!

Trying to people please is never a good idea. And it always ends in disaster because a situation/relationship wasn't aligned from the beginning. 

I have put up with the situation way past the point of no return, trying to see the best in the situation/people.

I often think that these turbulent periods are needed so we appreciate the times when life is flowing and gentle. 

It's never too late to stand our ground, and I known that doing what is right for us, sometimes upsets the apple cart for others. But so be it, we need to navigate our own life stories and not be manipulated and bullied by others...
