Last Saturday...

Last Saturday two plants were added to the garden, the one above is a cinnamon myrtle, that I had in a pot and the image below is a lemon myrtle, from my son's garden. My son didn't have enough room in his garden to plant the lemon myrtle, as they get quite tall. We planted them near each other down the back of my garden. Both are used traditionally in bush medicine. 

Elsewhere in the garden all sorts of flowers are in bloom. My orange tree has copious amounts of flowers, I am hoping that this season the possums leave me some. It is a pineapple orange, so I am quite excited to taste at least one orange from this tree. My two mini flower meadows are unfortunately mixed with weeds this year, the flowers are beginning to bloom, both of these patches self seed each year. Normally I keep these patches weed free, with the injuries this year I feel behind in my garden, thankfully the last mishap is beginning to heal. Just in time for spring...
