I Know...

I know spring has truly arrived when my wisteria begins to flower. I find them so stunning when in bloom, the long mauve blooms trailing downwards and offering a subtle fragrance to the garden. These photos were taken three weeks ago, since then more beauty has unfolded in the garden.
My flower meadow is somewhat feral this year, I didn't get to remove the weeds in time. The first blooms in there are the Californian poppies, with daisies and cornflowers not far behind.
Noisy visitors were making themselves known this particular day, as well as pruning some of the trees, which wasn't really needed! Still it's always lovely to have a garden full of life...

Spring is in the air in your part of the world. I love those noisy visitors.
