The damaging ramifications of gossip can cause great sorrow, not to mention unfair perspective on the person who is the topic of the ghastly belittlement. Not being one to enter into the mindless activity of gossiping I find it rather amusing to discover that I have become the subject of such childish behaviour.
As in most cases of idle gossip those in question don't actually know the person they are talking about, yet, this seems to be an irrelevant point, as the people in question seem to feel that it is within their right to chatter about a persons private life willy nilly. What gives them the authority to invade another's privacy and exchange nonsense about their intimate life does seem somewhat laughable, given the fact that neither party know the subject in question at all.
Gossip may seem like a harmless pastime, idle chatter over coffee and cake, but I see it a little more deeper than that, it is more a cry for help, as those who focus their attention on the lives of others, usually are in too much inner turmoil to deal with their own life stories.
It is often easy to take the focus of ones self and direct the inner hatred and dissatisfaction on to another, in the interim period this may pacify any inner pain the person/s may be experiencing, yet the results of this will not be lasting, as the bitterness that dwells in their hearts will not dissolve until they stop and deal with their own inner monsters.
Seeing the pain of these troubled souls makes it easy to dismiss their adolescent actions, knowing that what they are in need of most is the ability to see themselves through the eyes of love........

Another way of saying this is that anything that is spoken that does not refer to the moment or doesn't come from one's own personal experiences is Here(hear)-Say and is not established in the Here and Now and is therefore not admissible beyond time and space. :) So when one talks of other people, it is a projection then of the same issue or frequency that can be recalled back into one's present essence. The projection is something then that is stuck in the mind, and can be forgiven so that the heart can be reopened to experience life fresh beyond the need to engage in charged activities.

Hi Gemel, thanks for the visit, I have spent a very delightful time looking at your photos and reading your words and enjoyed every minute. Your pussy cats Tarmal, Pixie and Spirit (is there another called Blossom?) are a joy to behold, I'm a great lover of cats and took hundreds of pics of my gorgeous Lily before she passed away. Haven't been brave enough to get another as yet, it's too heartbreaking! Anyway I will check in regularly and hopefully see more of them.
