It Always...
It always brings a smile to my face seeing this board each week outside a fabulous little boutique in Mundaring.
Doing it's little bit to spread a bit of positiviy and happiness. Hopefully it's not just me who feels that the messages brighten their day...
The Darlington...
The Darlington Community Garden is by far the best community garden I've seen.
Darlington is a 24 kilometre drive from Chidlow, and closer to the suburban sprawl as well.
It's one of the more affluent areas in the Perth foothills, and the community garden reflects this with what has been created. They obviously have a bigger budget than our own tiny community garden here in Chidlow, or maybe the residents are more involved with donations and ideas.
The garden is next to the sporting complex and oval as well as the bike pump tracks and jumps.
There's plenty of art, and the most ingenious bottle recycling place I've seen.
I noticed that more raised garden beds had been erected, they still lay empty, waiting for the cooler weather I assume before planting takes place...
