It's Always Been Always was the exhibition I went to see recently at the Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre.
It features the voice of Blak women celebrating their connection to country, community and culture.
One of the films was very triggering; focusing on how first nation people were killed as their children were left, helpless by their lifeless bodies.
Sobering stuff, which I imagine has provoked a variety of reactions...
