Kings Park...

Kings Park Botanical Gardens is beginning to come alive with colour. Western Australia is known for the biggest wildflower show on earth, with some 12,000 plant species unique to the state.
Flowering begins in June and ends in November.
Kings Park has purpose planted garden beds with flowering plants from across the vast state. I went last week for a walk to see what was out in flower. I also found a few mushrooms, and a bird or two.
Over the coming months I will make the long journey down to the park to see the wave of colour that transforms the gardens...
