Still catching up with posting photos as life has been somewhat out of kilter, these are from the 3rd of August.
The lake was still very low here, I recall having a conversation with a park ranger this day about the concerns of the level of the lake. We had had pretty decent downpours up this point, yet the water level was still way too low. Not now though, I recently shared photos of the cascade running as the lake is now overflowing.
The purple swamphens and Eurasian coots made great subjects for a few photos.
And as always, I found plenty of marvellous natural wonders to capture my attention along my way...
