A month behind on editing my photographs, these were taken the day of the first heavy rains at the beginning of July. I was absolutely joyous walking in the rain. Soaked yet ecstatic. Seeing the drenching the land was getting was truly wonderful. I seemed to be the only creature out enjoying the rain, all the bushland creatures were wisely taking cover from the deluge. Since then, there have been many wonderful heavy rain showers, and the lakes and rivers are all flowing swiftly again...
