Spending the afternoon lazing in the garden watching the antics of Tarmal and Pixie as they get their first taste of warm sun upon their fur has been a joyous way to occupy my day.
With the appearance of this glorious weather the garden has also attracted a few more visitors to enter our sleepy domain, which has these two completely enthralled.
So much to watch as butterflies and other insects inspect the array of flowers blooming in their playground.
I did notice though that they both spent a lot of time seeking the refuge of the shade, just like their mother it seems, not lovers of the heat.
Such a calming way to spend the afternoon, giggling as I watch the endless fascination these two have with life, such innocence and boundless curiosity.
Nothing escapes their attention, unlike other cats who wander around freely these two really do find such wonder in the world around them investigating every single movement and sound around them.
But they also take the time for the important things in life too.
A little bit of sibling love.
Spirit meantime simply sits and watches, always emitting a sense of authority over his pride, it is gratifying to see the changes in him though, from the distant street cat to the contented family cat.
Watching this serene scene I realised that it is not only my cats who have found their utopia, I too have found that life is now so absolutely soothing, there is nothing but tranquillity flowing into my days......

What a nice family, and a happy and content one. :-)
We'll pop the kettle on Craig ;)
Thank you Linda :)
Wonderful way to spend the afternoon Gemel and love that we get to see your friends enjoying their home, this weather is bliss for sitting out reading and soaking up some Vitamin D! How lucky are we in this huge and troubled world.
