This! Works much better don't you think? I found that this room was wasted being used as the dinning room. It is more relaxing sitting here. We only have to paint the walls and this area will be done! I have chosen a vibrant burnt orange, (Garfield) for a feature wall where the carving hangs, the rest will be painted in a softer neutral colour ( Light Rice). We are going to do three feature walls in the main living area to break it up a bit, also it will compliment the wooden carvings we have throughout this area.
And from this reading area to our new dinning area.
The afternoon sun adds warmth to this room, and it is far more practical being closer to the kitchen. The view is a nicer one too, especially when the gardens and limestone work is completed.
