The Wind Blows

The easterly winds have started, which means the hot summer days are not far off. I have woken to the sounds of the howling wind and a rattling fence, knowing that very soon the presence of these gale force winds will indicate a scorching, blistering, sweltering day ahead..............oh for joy! I am not a lover of the heat, I adore being outside too much, when the full force of summer hits us here being outside sometimes even briefly for me is quite unbearable. At least this year we have a pool to retreat to whenever the sizzling weather gets too much for me................
