The Sound...

The sound of gushing water filled the air with a sense of joy, the abundance of rain finally filling Lake Leschenaultia to the point of overflowing. Hopefully, the rains will continue to nurture the land for a few more months, before to the dreaded intensity of the summer heat...

 

Yesterday...

Yesterday I discovered this fabulous little family owned store in the Swan Valley, Baba and Dida's Marketplace.

With it being winter and still quite chilly there wasn't a huge selection of produce. However, what was for sale was so fresh, and they only sell what is in season.

Over the weekend there's a cafe open as well, which has a lovely alfresco area, during the summer months this will be shaded by a grapevine, which would be a cooling feature... 

 

There's Something...

There's something so nurturing about visiting my favourite cow family. Even though they don't always come to the fence to say hello, just seeing them contently nibbling on grass brings a peacefulness to my heart.

Cows are extraordinarily docile and affectionate.

 It's the same with any species, when treated with love and respect, they reciprocate the emotions tenfold...

 

My Garden...

My garden is beginning to show signs of spring with many plants bursting into wonderful sprays of colour which are sprinkled throughout the garden. 

There's also plenty of vibrant daily visitors who either fly or waddle in...
