Truly Remarkable...

Truly remarkable and unique, each piece of work in this exhibition is outstanding.
This is currently showing at The Zig Zag Cultural Centre in Kalamunda.

The artist was in residence and working on a quilt that was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes and goosebumps to my skin. She explained how she had stretched the fabric before hand painting it, and then she began the quilting. I would love to see the finished quilt, the tree of life surrounded by animals. It's truly beautiful already and still in the mist of creation.

I loved so many of her pieces, she works with so many different mediums, her clothes are stunning and also extraordinarily unusual.
I will be going back next week to see the one eyed tree completed. She was still working on it by creating the yarn which will dangle over it when finished.

I couldn't really pick a piece that stood out, as all were as inspiring and special as the next...

Some incredible works photographed here. Don't you just love seeing art in all its shapes and sizes and manifestations? Time spent surrounded by art is so healing.
