Red-tail black cockatoos are stunning birds, this mural captures their majestic presence well. 

Sadly, they are on the endangered list. To think of the extinction of these birds is something I don't dwell upon too much. Hearing their haunting call as they fly overhead is a sound that always shifts my sight upwards. Once large flocks would fly, now family groups are very small. 

Often a family visits my garden, and I always feel honoured. 

My wish is that humanity begins to acknowledge the presence and value of all wildlife, to remember that all life is sacred...
