When did we stop seeing the beauty within ourselves? Throughout the world so many women are discontented with their bodies, their age, their life, comparing themselves to the surgically enhance and airbrushed celebrities that are forced down their throats on the glossy magazines designed to promote low self esteem and to make money for all sorts of beauty and weight reducing products.
We are all beautiful to start with, every woman in this world, it is the pressure that the we put on ourselves (with the assistance of the media,) that cause so many women to be discontented with their body and life. Many suffer from eating disorders that are lethal to their health, others prefer to be more drastic and pursue the assistance of a surgeons knife to attain the perfection that they seek.
We are all perfect as we are, we were each created perfect, it is only us who fail to see this, who abuse our bodies, we compare ourselves to others who have no relevance in our life whatsoever, yet many feel compelled to follow the road to personal unhappiness, continually judging their looks and weight to those more beautiful.
I often meander around gardens looking at the beauty that surrounds me, seeing the perfection in all that I see. Each tree and flower is a flawless example of the love of our creator, as are we, except so many of us fail to see that. In a world that is losing its innocence and where false beauty is the fashion of the day, it is no wonder that so many women find that they do not cope with the signs of aging, not when they feel that they are compared to the fifty year old's that look twenty. But would you really want to be that vain? So lacking in self confidence that you cannot bear to see yourself grow old gracefully, with dignity and with love. They are the false ones, the ones that are suffering the most, why else would they distort themselves the way they do?
We are like seasons, each bestows a beauty the last season did not, with each blossom we bloom into a new stage of life, each one holding the promise of the miracles left to come.........

Let me remember the Lisa Nicholas Philosophy. She was in movie 'The Secret' where she said that first of all, it's important to love ourselves.
