As you all know my cats are my world, my constant loving companions who provide me with endless hours of amusement, and, love.
I know that not all share my view as seeing all life forms as equal, and I also know that many people dislike cats, but, I have to say that after being told by a friend yesterday that there is someone going around the city/neighbourhood streets deliberately baiting cats I am once again appalled by the darkness in some humans.
I have witnessed one beloved pet die of after being given a bait, it was the most distressing and heartbreaking thing I have ever had to deal with. A death by baiting is a most painful way to die, and I can not for the life of me understand why someone would go out to do this to innocent and loved pets.
Luckily my three are inside all the time, apart from Spirits daily wanders that is, but, after this news I am curbing his outside antics for awhile, which of course he is less than impressed with, tonight he has been voicing his disapproval constantly demanding to be let out.
But, it is better safe than sorry, so he will have to settle for supervised playtime from now on........

I have a personal preference for dogs in particular but certainly can never understand anyone who harms a living creature of any kind. And I'm sorry but in my opinion that includes snakes, scorpions, spiders, etc.
My sentiments exactly Lusky, I don't kill anything, I even feed the ants around my house.

Oh my gosh Gemel, you've got me worried now. There is a little cat called Sidney (she looks just like Spirit) she belongs to a young girl who lives around the corner from me, but she spends most of her time with me, I love her so much but i have to send her home at night and it breaks my heart because I'd love her to stay and she wants to stay. The young girl shares a house and it's party, party, party and I think Sidney prefers the peace with me, they do say you don't pick a cat they pick you. now I'm worried that when she's not with me she might be roaming around. How on earth can people do things like that, they can't have a heart.
