This Morning.............

This morning was a masterpiece, the awakening of the world a spectacle of silence and colour, broken with the throaty chorus of a family of magpies serenading the rising sun. Silently I strode towards my potting shed, alone and humbled by the sheer intensity of this unique moment. To my right the black silhouettes of the trees create a bold living work of art against the hues of crimson and peach that preceded the ascension of our mighty solar orb. To the left the full moon sat wistfully on a lone cloud floating its way towards the horizon. As I walked along, slowly sensing the magnificence of this treasured vision, I wished that the world could stop, that this moment would last forever. I was connected totally to the spirit of the Universe, feeling the power merging with my soul, sharing this only with the birds as they too took time to honor the glory of the Universe..........
