With Each Step...........

With each step I take I find myself drawn deeper into myself and further away from the noisy chatter of the world, into my own silent retreat. Each day sees me seeking the stillness of my own company more. As those around me still are consumed by anger, the past and controlling games I discover that I am tired of the petty contests that see people racing to become the controller of each situation and relationship, can they not simply be?
To be, would mean that they would have to look deeper into themselves to discover why they hold grudges and behave in a angry manner, to do that may uncover the depth of their true misalignment thus showing them the way home to true inner peace. Instead, it is far easier to play the games, manipulate, to be moody and angry, wasting all their energy on irrelevant issues that are simply a cover up for the root cause of their inner turmoil and resentment. Anyone who is angry or annoyed at someone else is really angry or annoyed at themselves, they simply see a reflection of this misalignment reflected back to them via someone else.
As I to stand back and reflect on what I see, I use it to enhance my souls growth, knowing that each situation is a boon to increase my road to enlightenment, to allow me to see whether or not the issue being thrown at me is for my growth or the other person/s involved.........

Very well said Gemel!

I think some people are scared to look deeper because they are rejecting something about themselves that they no longer want to look at and own. But in order to move forward they have to look at their demons and their fears that keep them tied to some forgotten past event.

I love the circle of shoes. It's like you are holding a meeting with different aspects of your self.
