Celebrating the full moon early this month to coincide with the Chinese New Year, I headed off early to assist in preparing for the night ahead.

Arriving to find the tipi still down was a strange sight, turning the corner and seeing the area open was rather bizarre.

Before erecting the tipi once again the area was cleansed, preparing for the energy of the night.

The soft rhythm of the drum along with the haunting sounds of the didgeridoo enhanced the already magical tone of the afternoon.

Birdsong suddenly increasing as the ceremony progressed, symbolising the interconnectedness of All, bridging all worlds together in sacred harmony.

With the Sun appearing from behind the clouds as the ritual drew to a close the energy suddenly intensified, strands of rainbow light cascaded over us, uniting heaven and earth within us all.

A lone Crusader Beetle landed on my hand, twirling around and around on my finger, as if dancing, stopping to share this moment of innocent wonder was a gift so precious, reaffirming my belief that we are All One, there is no separation, the energy and love circulating around me was felt by All.

With the poles oiled and ribbons tied with intent to the top of them, it was now time to raised them up.

And then quite suddenly it all begins to take shape.

The tipi's new totem is grandmother Cockatoo, she was found in the bushland, perfectly preserved, at first glance I thought she was still living, so lifelike she appears.

The energy she radiates is overpowering, her femininity oozes from her, offering a nurturing embrace to all present.

The next task was to go in search for offerings for the altar.

Two of us set about seeking flowers in the fields surrounding the tipi.

Offering thanks to each plant as we took a bloom.

Spying some tomatoes we decided to add them to brighten our basket of love, their plump redness adding the finishing touch.

Arriving back at the tipi in time to watch the canvas being thrown over, the wind billowing it out like a massive skirt.

Once again the tipi stands proud and strong, the essence of the rituals already held within her pulsate softly, anticipating tonight's event.

The final finishing touches to the outside sees me going inside the tipi to assist in preparing the mattresses and altar.

And suddenly it all begins to take shape, just as tonight's participants begin to arrive.

To enjoy a night of true bliss................

A mystical tale that involved a bar of Milka chocolate was proof yet again that If you really listen, miracles happen!

Setting off to do a routine shop for one of my clients I had a sudden urge to take her home one of her favourite bars of chocolate, going with this unexpected impulse I picked up the chocolate bar and headed to the checkout.

Unbeknown to me however, at this exact moment my client was on the telephone to the store manager, asking him to find me as she had forgotten to ask me to get her something.

The something.

A bar of Milka chocolate!

Returning to my clients house she asked me if I was embarrassed by the call-out in the shop.

Not having the slightest clue as to what she was talking about I asked her what she meant.

She then goes on to tell me that she had forgotten to ask me to get her a bar of Milka Chocolate, and that she had phoned the shop and was speaking to the manager about ten minutes ago, which was the precise time I picked the chocolate up, I knew this to be true, because I glanced at my mobile phone as I headed to pay for her goods.

I told her that I never spoke to the store manager, but, I explained I had a sudden urge to buy you this, and pulled the bar of chocolate out of the bag.

She sat there mouth open, staring at me wide eyed, shaking her head in total disbelief.

Words of course where not needed, the miracle spoke for itself......................

Starting the day with a cooling swim in the refreshing Indian Ocean was delightful.

With the temperature only expected to reach 33C it was comfortable enough for me to venture outside.

Being my first swim of the year I quickly realised how much I had missed frolicking in the waves, usually by the time I am able to head down to the beach it is far too hot to do so.

After an hour of bobbing about in the revitalizing water though I feel I may be inclined to visit my local watery playground more often............

My Guardian Angel was certainly keeping a watchful eye over me yesterday, it started as every other week day, except, given the heat I thought that I would check the oil and water in the car with the heat wave the city is currently experiencing.

Heading off to work, my day unfolded without incident until shortly after I left my last clients house.

Deciding that I would brave the freeway in peak hour traffic was a last minute decision, but I was so exhausted from the days heat, I wanted to get home as quickly as possible.

And then, just as I turned onto the feeder lane that merged with the already packed freeway disaster struck!

Suddenly there was dark grey smoke billowing out from underneath my car, so much so that I thought the car was on fire. Striking the hazard lights and pulling into the emergency lane I got out to see if I could locate the source of the problem, strangely though, with the engine off the smoke had ceased.

So, in I get and started the car again, same thing, so much smoke was coming out from underneath the car it was clearly not safe to drive.

Calling the RAC for assistance I found a shady spot to wait until help arrived.

I did not have to wait long, maybe ten minutes before I saw a welcome sight of the yellow RAC van pulling up in front of my little car. Explaining the situation to the man as he did preliminary checks under the bonnet, when he turned to me and said that I had put in too much oil, and before it could be driven it would need to be drained. He was astounded that I had driven from one end of the city to the other throughout the course of the day and it was only now it had reached the engine, he assured me it was an easy operation, yet, not one to be attempted on the side of the freeway.

This left no other option, I needed to be towed home, a further 38 kilometres north of where we were, at $3.12 per kilometre, an expensive end to a Friday afternoon!

With the tow truck sorted out the RAC man had to get on to his next person in distress and thus went on his way, which left me to wait until my ride appeared, another hour and a half later.

As I sat watching the endless procession of passing cars I realised that this could have been a lot worse, if this had of happened once I had joined the freeway I might not have been so lucky.

Spending this time I had to wait in complementation of how I had been safely guided out of harms way with seconds to spare was humbling, as I felt so incredibly safe and protected in this moment.

The journey home was without incident, except that when I asked the driver how much I owed him it was $40 short of what the RAC man quoted me.

Divine gift number two!

With one of my relatives arriving this morning to assist me in draining the sump I had a feeling that we needed a mechanic, someone who would know what they were doing, my normal mechanic is travelling, so we had come up with the idea if we could not do it safely ourselves we would tow it to a service station, except, that did not feel right!

So, minutes before he arrived I began looking on the internet to see if there where any listings for mobile mechanics in my immediate area, there was one, knowing it was a Saturday I doubted I would have much luck, but after hearing my tale, he said he could be here in 15 minutes, which he was, and my car back to normal within half an hour.

Expecting to pay a surcharge being a Saturday and knowing he did not normally work Saturdays I braced myself when I asked what I owed him, $50 he said, which was so much lower than I expected, and as I see it Divine gift number three.

What I learnt from all of this was acceptance, or rather my willingness to accept what was unfolding, I was not angry, nor was I stressed, I just accepted what was.

In doing so I feel I allowed the flow of synchronicity to bring to me all that I required......................

A Thundery Storm....

A thundery storm descended upon us this afternoon, having tried unsuccessfully to remain cool over the last few days I sat outside and allowed the fat juicy drops to chill me.

The ferocity of the wind set Spirit scurrying inside, the sudden claps of thunder sending Pixie dashing for cover.

As lightening illuminated the sky I sat enjoying this unexpected reprieve of the relentless heat, the sound of the rain pounding the tin roof a soothing melody to my ears.

And then as suddenly as it began,

It ceased, with golden rays of light breaking through the clouds.

And once again, all was still.

Yet, in the stillness the ominous presence of the storm still lingered.

As storm front approached from the east, the sky had cleared momentarily to allow a burst of sunlight through, filling the house with magical cosmic energy.....................

Heading straight for a nice, cool, relaxing bath when I got home from work given the extreme heat of the day seemed like a great idea, well, to me anyway, Tarmal freaked out immediately once he saw me submerged in the water.

Spirit seemingly sharing his concerns, though, being a little braver he jumped up for a closer look, which lasted seconds before he rejoined his worried sibling.

Tarmie decided to change positions and headed to his normal bath watching place, as usual his face was stricken with anxiety as I lounge luxuriously, enjoying the cool water on my skin.

Spirit seemed to be feeling the vibe of his baby brother, his face displaying his worry, god knows what they think is going to happened to me in each time I enter the bath.

After awhile Tarmie gave up watching, however the worried expression never left his face, bath and mum is clearly not a good combination in his view!

But then it all changed, you know what they say about cats and curiosity!

Spirit decided to get a closer look, which in turn intrigued Tarmal, so he had to follow, which entertained me as I lay soaking, quietly chuckling as they investigated, silently hoping that they did not fall in...................

Saying goodbye to someone you love is never easy, and when their departure comes swiftly you are left without the option to say that last, fond farewell.

As I walked alongside the hearse silently this afternoon, lost in my own private world of grief I suddenly was overcome by the intensity of life around me, the gardens were teeming with activity.

Leaving the cemetery I headed home, to be in the stillness of my garden and to acknowledge the sanctity of life.

Life is not about how much money you make, nor about what we own, what we do for work, none of that is important, not really.

Life is about beauty.

For in beauty love resides, ever radiating it's bequest to the world around us, and through us, connecting us all for eternity.

Beauty is a praying mantis idly resting on a spent bloom.

Beauty is the sudden bursts of colour that ignites my garden into an rainbow of decorative splendour.

Beauty is the light and shadows that dance across the foliage as the clouds drift across the sky.

The beauty of life is an unseen force that animates everything, spreading its bounty of tenderness within all of us.

Yet, for many 'life' gets in the way, and sadly some never see the truth of our interconnectedness to all.

As I sat and contemplated the returning of another beautiful soul I felt her everywhere, saw her in everything, never ending, eternal.

As the catnip flowers it is not only the cats who enjoy its wares.

Currently, I would have to say that all the insects are favouring this plant to all the others blooming in the garden.

The cabbage moths are a constant visitors, flitting from one flower to the next, chased by Pixie and Tarmal as they do so.

Also the ants are feasting on these delicate delights, and as yet I have not seen them doing the same on any other flowers, catnip really does seem to appeal to a wide range of folk.

As the bee's too begin to visit, I am very observant, making sure Tarmal does not begin to chase them, it appears though, he remembers the pain the last encounter with a bee gave him, thankfully he keeps a very safe distance as these buzzing beauties collect the nectar and pollen.

But, I too will be enjoying the gift of this humble plant.

He was mesmerised as he watched the hover flies collecting nectar from this grevillea flower.

Never one to sit by idly and watch, he attempts to reach these curious intruders.

A handsome stranger restored my faith in humanity this afternoon.

His gift.

A random act of kindness.

Unbeknown to me, all three of my brake lights had stopped working, and travelling home in peak hour traffic on the free way I noticed this man behind me for the entire journey. If I changed lanes, he changed lanes, so it went until the free way ended.

As I slowed down to stop at the red light ahead, windows down the breeze blowing in, Mr Tall Dark and Handsome pulls along side, and tells me that my brake lights don't work, and to be careful, before driving off and disappearing from view.

Proving, we are never alone.
There is someone always watching out for us, even if we fail to think so................

Some things in life are just not what they use to be.

Gone are the days when I could linger under the reassuring warmth as the water cascaded over me, loosing myself in the nurturing rhythm as the droplets fell onto my body, hmm, simply blissful.

Or rather, it used to be before Tarmie became my shower guardian!

Bless his wee soul, he becomes positively frantic whenever I step into the shower cubicle, meowing and tapping the door until I turn the water off.

A look of horror on his little face as he watches me standing under the water,god knows what he thinks is going to happen to me.

I have tried shutting the door to the bathroom, but that makes it worse, as he scratches relentlessly, yowling continuously until I let him in.

Perhaps there is only one solution!

Stumbling across a camera I had not used for some months, I turned it on to see whether I had any images stored on it.

Appears I was tinkering around with one of the arty settings.

Capturing moments long forgotten.

It must have been sometime ago, as the foliage has since grown considerably, I can recall the day was cold, Tarmal and Pixie insisting to go outside and play, and me wrapped up in a fleece to accommodate their wishes.

My beautiful girl peacefully enjoying the fresh winter air, more so than she does now, like me she keeps indoors even when the opportunity to play outside presents itself.

Although currently we are enjoying a rather unnaturally mild summer, the days just warm enough for me, and the nights cool enough to sleep, many people are complaining about the lack of heat, mind you I don't understand why, not me though, I am praying it keeps this way.

Starting the day with a quiet morning amble along my favourite seaside haunt infused me with an abundance of energy.

The serenity bestowed upon me whilst I silently walk is astounding.

For, in the shimmering morning light, in the quiet of the morn I feel surrounded by a benevolent presence that encompasses me as I walk.

As usual I beat the morning rush, having this stretch of paradise all to myself, what an utterly divine way to begin ones day.

With the locals waking I sit awhile to watch as a lone gull lazily meanders down the sand dune, oblivious to being watched, focused entirely on the breakfast menu I should think.

With the sun rising higher as each second passes, I notice too, that the temperature also is increasing.

A family of galahs found this sculpture a handy perch to watch the sunrise, happily chatting to each other as the dawn gave way to day.

A sight I never tire of, the returning of our mighty solar orb.

Turning to retrace my steps I head for home, the wind gently pushing me along.

Tiptoeing through the already warm water, I felt completely refreshed as I strode happily along, no concerns, just totally relaxed and absolutely at peace.

The day as yet unwritten, I gave no thought to what might unfold, instead I gave intent to surrender into each moment as they appear, allowing spontaneity to pen the path ahead.

For in taking expectation out of the equation, I open up to endless possibilities.

The harmonious flow of life is always here surrounding us, even in the hectic artificial societies many of us reside in.

Returning to the peaceful current of life requires nothing more than your intent to do so...............

It seemed fitting to take myself along to the beach for a cooling afternoon walk.

However the spirit of the wind was of such a force I found it difficult at times to remain upright!

The afternoon sea breeze here in Perth's northern suburbs can be bordering on gale force, today was one of those days.

Giggling to myself as I plodded alongside the tempestuous sea I wondered at my wisdom of heading beach side for my afternoon meditation.

Admitting defeat, I gave up after twenty minutes and headed home where the cooling 'breeze' was less zealous.

Heading north I found it was a more sedate journey with the wind at my back, waves lashing at my feet and the sun easing in it's intensity.

I can think of worse places to have on hand to retreat to at the end of a day so that I may reflect upon the events that have unfolded.............

Taking The Time..............

Taking the time to set intent as the end of this current world age draws ever closer, for the written stories of the past to float away serenely upon the breeze, drifting lazily into the distance.

For the many canvases yet to be painted into life I invoke love, harmony, contentment, happiness and peace to reign throughout the many tomorrows still lingering upon the horizon.

Seeing the beauty within every moment, even those of a challenging nature, for, even on the darkest of days the Sun still bestows it's warmth upon us, when the impression of darkness attempts to cloud the light realise then, the unconditional support and love from Source shines even harder to embrace the ache in ones heart.

It is time for the world to heal, time for humanity to remember the way of the heart, and the intrinsic ability we all have to regain the inherent capacity we have to heal not only our lives, but that of Gaia and her precious animal children that share our world............

Love, South Africa 2008..............

At just six months of age, Themba the elephant suffered a terrible loss, his mother fell off a cliff while moving with their herd through the South African nature reserve where they lived.

With this being a critical time for bonding between mother and son, the veterinarians hoped that one of the other females would adopt him, sadly though none did.

Enter Albert the sheep!

It took a lot of patience with the first few introductions, as it turns out, sheep have been used as surrogate mothers for a variety of orphaned animals.

After three days of wary gestures and tentative touching the pair finally accepted each other, and the stressful beginning of their relationship well worth it.

They were inseparable, they would nap together, play together, Themba would rest his trunk on Albert's wooly back and they explored their surroundings.

The plan was that Themba would be reintroduced back to his family, however he became gravely ill when he was two and a half, despite efforts to heal him, sadly they lost him.

Albert though continued to forge new interspecies friendships with zebra foals and wildebeests.

Love is the language of the Universe, unconditional love, the strongest love of all................

Giving From The Heart.......

Giving from the heart for me is done through cooking for those I love, for, in the joy and love I infuse into the food as I prepare, and cook it, warms and nurtures the mind, body and soul of all who share it.

Having laid the table in preparation for my guests arrival, it was then into the kitchen to allow my inspiration to flow.

I had an hour until they all arrived, what would it be I would create?

The finished result was a wholesome and tasty explosion of flavours and textures, which even if I admit myself was utterly delicious!

And what was it that I created?

Firstly, a hearty garden salad, raw mushrooms, yellow pepper, apple cucumber, a selection of miniature tomatoes, two types of lettuce, bean shoots and shallots.

To accompany that I made stuffed mushrooms, tomato, chives, peppers, onion and garlic, mixed together, drizzling olive oil over them then baked for around 40 minutes, ever so easy and totally yummy.

Then I made potato patties, one sweet potato, one red potato, and one white potato, cooked until soft, once drained I added one can of chilli beans, coriander and a few chives, mashed it all together with a little rice flour until the mixture is lump free.Taking a small spoonful of the mixture I moulded them into a pattie shape and fried until golden, a quick and simple recipe, which you can add all sort of ingredients to, the possibilities are endless.

After that I made a pasta salad, once the pasta was cooked I strained it and added some Thai olives, Italian seasoning, tomatoes and a few shallots, with a drizzle of olive oil, return it to a low heat for a few minutes and presto, a feast for four is complete!

There is no better way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon than sharing a meal of wholesome food, coupled with wonderful company and stimulating conversation...................

Spending the morning cooking a couple of weekends ago, making my current favourites, tomatoes stuffed with couscous and olives, plus a spicy pasta dish, in preparation for a gathering of friends, to relax under a canopy of leaves in the lush, and relaxing parkland's of Point Walter, one of Perth's loveliest garden retreats.

With my basket filled with my delectable morsels I was ready to set off to meet my circle of friends for an afternoon picnic, lazily reclining under shady bows, whilst enjoying numerous offerings of vegetarian delights.

As I approached home on that sultry evening, I did so with a full and happy heart.

For suddenly in front of me new and exciting opportunities loom, the gift of new friendships offered from a variety of directions, filling my world with gratitude for the mystical hand that writes the story of my life......................

Just how is one to keep cool in this heat?

Bless his heart, Tarmie does struggle to cope in the heat, and seeing as I did not have any luck in locating a cat groomer to clip him, he may have to endure a bath or two this summer to assist him in coping.

Sprawling out on the cool floor seems like the best way to cool down, the last hint of the morning breeze still floating in.

What a life!

Lazing around all day, stretching and slumbering the day away.

That's if you can find somewhere that is cool enough, thinks Tarmie as he heads in search of a cooler sleeping place!

Ah, perfect!

That will be the last I see of his Lordship until later on this afternoon, when, hopefully the sea breeze begins to blow and afternoon playtime outside begins...................................

The Call Of The Ocean...........

The call of the ocean summoned me to it's shores yesterday morning, along with a family of Aborigines, which is a rare sight indeed.

Watching the children laughing and frolicking with delight in the shallow water made me linger awhile, just watching the innocence of play.

Continuing further along the beach I was somewhat surprised that given the heat of the morning it was still deserted.

Although, given the main Perth beaches have been closed recently with a succession of shark sightings, perhaps it was wise, Jindalee Beach is not patrolled, therefore swimming here is considerably risky, the currents are very strong and, sharp rocks cover the sea bed.

Gazing back momentarily though I noticed that suddenly the beach was filling up, the early morning heat luring them all beach side to cool down as the temperature rises.

The sea was uninviting for me however, there seemed to be an ominous presence lingering, perhaps it was nothing more than the unsettled stormy weather, nonetheless I was content to stroll along the sandy shore.

This seemingly endless stretch of beach changes each and every time I come down here, each day offers a different view.

Suddenly though, my path came to an abrupt end, the incoming tide cutting me off from walking further north, this part of the beach I find the most intriguing, yet it is only possible to gain access when the tide is low, and the sea calm.

Heading back I stopped for awhile, standing silently observing the vastness of this mighty ocean, respectfully aware of the mighty and deadly force she is.

Contemplating the risk one takes whenever swimming in the waters of the Western Australian coast, for as alluring as these sparkling waters are, they also harbour many deadly residents, Stonefish, Great White Sharks, Stingrays, and Jellyfish to name but a few, all call this watery playground home, which is why I will only swim on certain days.

I do get quite disillusioned however when the local authorities wish to cull the sharks so that the humans may swim, it saddens me to think that some many people still view the lives of others as disposable, after all it is not us who have gills!

Gazing over to the sand dunes looming to my left I realised that I am often tempted to go up and explore their as yet, untainted beauty, however, again, these hills are teeming with many venomous and deadly snakes, and, given that I amble alone I resist the temptation to explore.

Perhaps in the cooler months I may take the opportunity to view my coastal playground from another vantage point, for now though I am content to wade along this splendid coastline watching the world passing by.

A group of young surfers were having a wonderful time, the waves had begun to increase not only in intensity, but in height also, giving them hours of surfing pleasure.

Back to where I set off, the indigenous family were still enjoying this wonderful watery playground, seeing them here enjoying themselves was really refreshing, as it truly is such a rare sight.

Taking the pathway back to my car I did so with a light and happy heart, simple pleasures fill me with such elation, taking this feeling with me I walked into the blankness of the waiting day................

The Year Before Us............

The year before us has been predicted by the Mayan Calendar and the I Ching as being one of monumental Earth changes, the reality of this has already been felt with the numerous 'natural' disasters that have occurred this year. Not only that, humans themselves are being put through the wringer, as the planetary cleansing begins to reach its peak.

Ancient wisdom speaks to us, it is here for us to learn from, as the Ancient Mayan peoples held more wisdom than we do now, they lived from the heart, despite being wrongly depicted as barbaric, the knowledge and love of the true Maya lives on.

The technological world is not a world that offers love, nor contentment to those caught in its claws of addiction, for it increases the disconnection from our truth, promotes hatred, fear and defeat.

Inside all of us lies the answers for all our worries, discontentment, failures, addictions and fears, for inside of us all lays the way to peace, waiting for each of us to hear the call from within.

If all of us choose peace as a way of life, if more of us decide to stand against the fear based societies we are forced to reside in there will be a shift.

Seek out those who share the vision.

Join with them as often as you are able.

Allow the isolation of this robotic imprisoned materialistic world to disintegrate, taking with it the hatred and destruction that has destroyed this planet and countless lives with it.

It is time for all of us to regain the intrinsic power of unconditional love, and to open ourselves and the planet to the endless possibilities of peace..................

Walking Down.......

Walking down the hallway I suddenly realised how I had achieved my goal of attaining a place of grace.

A dwelling that offers me the calmness to sit and just be, watching the wind waltz through the garden.

Whether I am in or out makes no difference as my view is equally relaxing from whichever vantage point I choose.

Taking time to refrain from life for awhile fills me with gratitude, for having the ability to view the unmistakable wonder of all creation no matter where it is I happen to find myself is a gift of everlasting euphoria........................

It' Been Awhile................

It's been awhile since I have had long and invigorating walk, life is much fuller now and suddenly my once frequent walks seem a thing of the past!

Today though, the sky beckoned me as I left the house early this morning, and as luck would have it I managed to discover a new riverside playground to explore in Dalkeith while filling in time in-between clients.

Normally I just sit in my car and read, but today I needed to walk, allowing the blustery wind to cleanse me, as I balanced myself between Earth and Sky.

Interesting sculptures, simply stunning, taking me back to night recently spent slumbering in a teepee.

To the glistening orbs of twinkling sand urging me to follow their call.

And monster rocks, popping up out of nowhere.

Sandy footprints leaving the mark of many souls forever entwined within the sand.

Elegant gulls as always completely mesmerising to me, in an instant I am lost as my spirit takes flight to soar with them.

A perfect place to just watch the world meander past, the rhythm of the water hypnotic, a melody that soothes the soul.

Heading back to my waiting car I realised how much I missed my walks, how the time alone, spent connecting with Source vital for my inner balance.

I did spot this chap having a spot of bother just before reaching the car, bracing myself against the trunk of one of the mighty trees in the park I zoomed in to watch his antics.

Glad that it was him and not me splashing about in the river attempting to right his ride, as there are lots of stinging jellyfish and the occasional shark frequenting these waters.

Entertainment over and time for me to move along, but not before I acknowledged that I shall resume my coastal and nature walks, for there is no place better for me to rejuvenate, than in the warming embrace of our Creator.................

Attempting to source hemp seeds for a couple of new recipes I have stumbled across has confronted the shop assistants in a variety of health food shops I visited today.

All of them became very rude and unhelpful at the mere mention of the word hemp!

This highlighted the ignorance linked with hemp, most people think of hippies sitting around in a circle getting high as they pass a joint around, sadly though, that is only the tip of the many ways the humble hemp seed can assist humanity.

Hemp seeds are high in calcium, iron, chlorophyll, antioxidants and are a good source of dietary fibre, plus, hemp seeds contain all the essential amino acids.

Not only that, whole hemp seeds are also a great source of phosphorus, magnesium, zinc and copper. They are also safe for people in tolerate to nuts, (such as myself) gluten, lactose and sugar, the fact is that there are no known allergies to hemp foods.

The seeds can be eaten raw, ground into flour, sprouted and even made into hemp milk (like soy and rice). The fresh leaves can even be added to salads, and there are some companies now producing hemp ice cream and tofu attempting to raise awareness of the beneficial health properties of this medicinal herb.

Unfortunately though, I have discovered that Australia is only country in the world that does not recognise hemp as a food source, frankly, I am not surprise a lot of things here in Perth are years behind the UK and Europe.

So looks like I upset all those terribly rude shop assistants for nothing........................

Insects chirping in the bush indicated the day would be hot, the lack of wind emphasised this fact, already the sun was burning me through the car window as I set off to meet a friend for lunch.

On and on the road stretched, no sign of life, the kangaroos all resting under shady trees as the temperature soars.

The sky was amazing yesterday, it seemed oddly bigger than normal, and so exquisitely dreamlike, I was mesmerized as I drove on and on.

For the first part of my journey I passed hardly any other cars, the road seemingly leading to nowhere, just endless miles of the snaking winding tarmac.

Turning onto Great Northern Highway just north of Bullsbrook this all changed, suddenly I re-entered society, which seemed strangely unnatural after the quite back roads.

As I was now closer to the foothills, it was here I noticed the effects of the first few weeks of summer heat, the grasses already burnt and dried, soon these fields will be nothing, just dusty, dry and barren.

Soon too, even these trees will begin to loose the vibrant green shimmer in their leaves, drying up in the harsh summer sun, the farmers do not water them in the summer months, they are left to fend for themselves, stretching their roots down deep into the earth in search of precious water.

Horses grazing along the roadside took me back to a former life, where I too, once lived surrounded by nature and many horses, reminiscing I drove happily content, suddenly I could feel the warm nuzzle of my favourite horse tickling my neck, the feel of his soft coat as I brushed him.

Days lived so long ago, now it seems it was not me at all who lived that life, but another person completely.

Arriving at my rendezvous point my reminiscing was brought to end as my companion joined me and we continued on to our chosen destination.

For Perth it is an old building, although, they have begun to modernise it, seems to be the trend here.

It was not busy which was great, as often this particular eatery is bursting with customers on such a warm sunny day, I prefer quite places, so it suited me just fine.

Then I spotted these two, sitting in the water feature to cool off!

Before bobbing down to ruffle their feathers.

And splash anyone walking by!

How delightful to watch them, taking advantage of fresh cooling water, oblivious to the humans coming and going.

Such a handsome boy too don't you think?

We chose a quite table under the shady canopy of the trees, the other patrons sticking closer to the main building, closer to the air conditioning I think!

The garden was filled with electrifying colours of the many unusual flowers that grew around the garden.

Making it a perfect place to share a meal, and stimulating conversation.

Gazing upward I noticed that the two doves had taken to the roof, to dry and preen their feathers, and

Explosions of colour are irrupting continuously around my tranquil garden hideaway.

As the temperature begins to soar as summer approaches the slumbering plants are bursting with new vibrant growth.

The delicate hues of this cottonwood hibiscus are exquisitely fragile, the mellow tint of their petals a striking contrast to the deep red tones of the leaves.

Across the other side of the garden another head has popped up, the extraordinary beauty of this exotic jewel.

Appearing more like a creature from another planet, it stands high above the rest of the garden like a sentient custodian, peacefully watching over me....................

Blossom, Is, Blossoming.........

Blossom, is, blossoming!

Having scattered the ashes of my beloved Blossom around the roots of a flowering cherry tree two years ago, I am saddened to report, the tree never took off.

Granted, I had planted it in a very large pot, as the intention was always to to transplant the tree once I settled here.

When I was actually planting the garden, I did think, just for a moment, that perhaps I ought to forget about adding it to the new garden, as the tree was so unhappy.

Having freed the tree from its confines though, I gave intent that if, after the first spring, it still did not grow I would leave it in the garden and decorate it with sun catchers and wind chimes.

But suddenly, she awakes!

The tree has come alive, new branches zooming towards the sun.

New life being born.

I shall never forget the intention I set forth to Source just before encountering my beloved Blossom, nor, shall I ever dismiss the bond we shared, right up until her last breath.

Now though she blooms again, sharing her radiant beauty with me once again, a piece of her with me forever and always..................

Whilst Madame, gives me a look of desperation!

Having had 'their' home invaded three times by house guests recently, which, I hasten to add, they really did enjoy, seeing that playing with them seemed to amuse my guests no end!

On top of that, bless their beautiful hearts, they have had to contend with longer days without mummy, and, a WHOLE night, home alone!

Is it any wonder I get snubbed by two and 'the look' by one each and every time I leave the house?

Hmm?

No, of course not!

To compensate though, my cherished feline babies are thrilled to see me, as I am them, whenever I enter the house.

Their love is unconditional, eternal, and I, never for an instant, forsake this depth of the love we share............

Circles within circles are suddenly manifesting continuously into my story, the synchronised waltz of harmony filling my world with joy.

A few months ago I began an intense cleansing which included all aspects of my life, from de-cluttering the house, to, releasing others who no longer resonated to my own quickening vibration.

The decision to let go on such a monumental level was at the time a little confronting, as, living in a city that is less than friendly, I was left feeling even more isolated and lonely than I had ever felt.

Until the past few weeks that is!

The circles of love have settled upon my story, so much so that it has me laughing at how, once planted an intention sows it seed deep within the depth of ones soul, forming roots so strong that suddenly a new way of life blossoms out of nowhere.

It all began with meeting someone in a bookshop some months ago, from that first conversation a sequence of events have unfolded that has me grinning from ear to ear at the interconnectedness of the intention I set.

From this one beautiful person I was invited to a new meditation circle, from here I then went to another circle, and, in each new encounter with my new found friend I meet new people, who, not only are able to speak to me on the level of deepness of which I so dearly craved, they all know each other!

From this one blessed meeting initiated by the waves of love, sent forward from Source, I now feel cradled in the arms of Gaia as I relish the spontaneity of my days, each one infused with kinship and love.

Stepping forward into a new and fresh tomorrow was daunting at first, yet now though each day is filled with glorious wonder of the endless possibilities that stretch out in front of me.

Daring to cleanse my life took courage, for I knew that as I set forth on the path of inner truth and deep cleansing I would pass through a period of doubt, wondering whether it would have been better to hold onto the empty relationships that had me wrapped in sadness and disillusion than to be more alone than I had ever been.

Thankfully I worked through these feelings, spending many days sitting in the comforting surrounds of my quaint garden paradise, for it was here in the silence of truth that the sprouts of my tomorrows did grow....................
