If God asked me, Gemel if you could have anything in the world what would it be?
I would answer that all of civilized humanity would be still and silent for one whole day.
To return to their inner selves, to commune with God.
There would be no noise.
No trains, cars, planes, motor bikes, tractors, boats.
Nor would there be any televisions, radios, stereos, musical instruments, computers, ipods, m3p players, nothing just silence.
I would ask that all of civilized humanity would walk out of their homes with a smile on their face and begin to listen, to open their heart, and their eyes, quietly observing the beauty around them.
Whether they reside in the city or the country they would discover that natural elegance is everywhere.
As they continued their journey they would be only permitted to smile at those they passed, those that on any other day perhaps they would judge, or ignore, today though, they must only respond in love.
During this day perhaps they would begin to see that the true riches of the world are not kept in banks, they are flourishing everywhere, freely sharing Gods Love. They would also have the opportunity to see that music surrounds them always in the endless serenades of the wind as it dances through the leaves and grasses, the waves as they break on the shore, in the enchanting melody of the birds, in thousands of ways they would hear.
As they continue on their journey perhaps they would see that even in silence there is music, so deeply moving that it can make you cry.
And what if during this day they saw the destruction that civilization has caused, as suddenly they could feel the pain of the trees, that with the ability to hear and see with 'open' eyes they feel the pain of Mother Nature and her beloved animals, prompting them to contemplate the lifestyle they live, and the lives that are sacrificed so that they may live the way they do.
Suddenly perhaps they may see that all sentient Beings that share this Earth, not just the human inhabitants are all divine and beautiful, sacred.
That none of us need live in fear, or suffer abuse and violence, perhaps they may see that no matter what skin covers our body, we are all entitled to live a life of peace.
What if during this day, God opened the hearts of millions, and life as we know it now ceased to be................
