Pixie was showing signs of getting rather aggressive with little Tamal last night as they played, which I think is due to the fact that she was abused as a kitten. She always seems to be quite agressive.
Tamal is very submissive and such a loving soul so he will not fight back, besides he is too young to do so, he does the wise thing, lies down and takes it!
When they play they remind me of the lions that I walked with in Mauritius, they too had a play fight that sounded and looked like full on war.
They roared and growled that loudly the it vibrated throughout my entire body. I remembered thinking at the time that with cats for the observer there appears to be a fine line between fun time and serious confrontation if you don't know what to look for. When the claws come out and the teeth sink in then you know you have a fight on your hands, though as I am learning with Pixie, she may make all the sounds and shows all the signs of aggression, yet she never leaves a mark on her tiny brother..............
