And The Good News Is................

And the good news is, Blossom is back to waiting at the window if I leave the house for any amount of time....... And scuttling to the door when she sees me return. Having just got back from her checkup, I am delighted to report that Craig was very impressed with her obvious bounce back to health, but, she has lost a lot of weight and we need her to gain it steadily back, otherwise she may be not clear of danger. She has no signs of jaundice, which would have been apparent already, and the liver has reduced its size, and it is soft, so no cancer cells. Knowing that her survival depends on her appetite returning with a vengeance I have stopped at the supermarket and got her a supply of raw meat................ and in a vegan household that was a major issue for me to overcome. It was a challenge enough for me to actually pick up the meat, the feel of it, and the smell, well, lets just say I was nauseous. Usually when I get her fresh meaty treats I have to stop off at a friends so that she can cut it up and store it for me, however today I had to do it myself. All I thought was, Blossom wants to live. Enough said! She goes back in a weeks time, at which point if she has not put on weight, then we are in trouble, so once again, I will heal, meditate and ask the Universe (and my beloved friends,) to support an aging feline in her valiant struggle to live a longer life..............

Wonderful news......I am so very glad.

Ugh - to the raw meat, don't think I could go there, for a multitude of reasons -- I'm not vegan but.....:(

Still, cats ARE carnivores so we must set aside our own sensibilities for the betterment of our friends...*grin*. Blossom is a very lucky girl to have you stretch so far for her....

~blessings to you both~
