On Arrival..............

On arrival Blossom went off to look at her new home, the stone and timber cottages are set in 115 acres of jarrah and marri forest, there were smells and sounds galore to explore. With the unpacking done, and so much to see I went off to explore with my little angel. All of the cottages had a good distance between them, and there was a huge expanse of dead grass in front of them all. We have not had rain for that long that even the forest foliage was drooping, thirsty for a good soaking. There are wild emus, kangaroos and possums that live in the forest, not to mention oodles of birds, reptiles and other smaller marsupials, I should imagine in the lusher months the kangaroos would come to feed from this part of the cottage grounds. Catching up with Madame as she perused the grounds, she was all eyes and ears, so many sounds, a smorgasbord of smells to intrigue her, as she sat watching and listening to all that she heard it would have been lovely to hear what she thought. Time for a quick photo with her mum before going inside to see what was waiting her there.......
