Our lamppost...............

Our lamppost is becoming a regular drop in spot for a growing number of native birds. They seem to all gravitate towards this post in particular, usually spending a few minutes singing, calling out to other family members or just plain chilling out. This newest visitor is a mud lark or Magpie-lark. They are quite often in the company of their larger magpie cousins, in fact this one was sharing the sign post with a magpie, however, when I returned with my camera to get a shot of the two of them together he was alone.......................
