Having moved all the furniture around yesterday in preparation for today's' work the room looks like a bomb has hit it!
I am excited for the transformation that will take place within a matter of hours, really it takes very little to please my Soul..................
This little dove was content to sit and doze in the warm winter sun as Blossom and I had our afternoon stroll around the garden.
Keeping a watchful eye on us as we wandered around.....
Delicate and utterly exquisite, true perfection, I am forever moved by the grandeur of the Universe's creations, be it bee, ant, whale or dove the miracle of life is astounding.

They both happily ate their breakfast before flying off to have their morning drink.
Taking a moment to contemplate the world before flying off to enjoy the remainder of his day.............
I never tire of watching these beautiful birds on their daily visits to the garden knowing that they have one safe place where they are guaranteed of finding food and fresh water as their natural habitat is fast disappearing around them at an alarming rate.
With spring around the corner I anticipate the arrival of their babies and trust that like their parents my garden will continue to be a sanctuary for them all.

Sharing of moment of quiet after a magical private wedding was a wonder to behold.
As I watched the love, laughter and happiness on the face of this adored young woman beginning her next exciting chapter of her life I was overwhelmed with a deep and powerful feeling of love.
As she walks towards her tomorrows and all that they hold may they continue to be filled with dreams that are fulfilled and surrounded by love.
Birthday breakfast......................crumpets with Vegemite and birthday candles!!!! Not every ones taste I should imagine, although they went down a treat let me tell you. And I was impressed with my find of these candles that burn with different coloured flames.
Madame got fed up with someone else getting all the attention and decided that enough was enough and headed for her breakfast, as much as I adore her she does not warrant breakfast in bed!
And of course that left me to clean up, anyone who knows me well enough is fully aware that my gifts come laden with LOTS of glittery stars and things to add even more sparkle to that special someones day..........................................

Love is what living is all about, loving every different species of life on this planet is a characteristic not many of us are blessed with, most perceive human life as the only one worth worrying about, animals are a commodity that are exploited to feed and clothe them, not many are considered to have feelings. I constantly save a variety of creatures every day, spiders, flies, ants, snails, slugs in fact anything that I pass that I feel someone may squash just because they don't like them, the comments I get from doing this varies, mostly people are nasty about it, and of course think I am weird. Who gave us the right to decide which life is more important than others? All life forms on this planet have senses like we do they feel pain and they feel love, stories like this give proof of this fact, yet even so the animals continue to suffer at mans greedy hands.
Perhaps this common little tabby cat may reach a few more hardened human hearts enough to make them reconsider the true nature of animals, to enlighten them enough to realise that they do feel love just like we do, that they too have the right to live. The Universe was designed by a being far more compassionate and enlightened than many can comprehend, and in the wisdom of this creation all life forms to play a vital part in the balance of this planet, as man has continued to believe the illusion that he is the superior species the planet is spirally out of control. This ordinary little tabby cat is showing the world about REAL love bless her beautiful little heart, a lesson humanity desperately requires.

My creative juices were flowing as the thousands of possibilities for a menu begin to swirl around my head, not to mention the laying the table and lighting the candles, it is not just about the food you know!
Our non-vegan/vegetarian friends are always excited to come to our house for dinner as they are continually intrigued as to what I will cook for them, like many other carnivores they are a little pushed when the prospect of cooking a meat-free meal presents itself, therefore coming to our house is viewed at first as a novelty then they actually looked forward to being invited as they know that apart from a great evening they will learn something new about vegetables. As I pottered about my kitchen I felt myself returning to my inner world of bliss, music played in the background and I softly sang along as I chopped away creating with awareness and love a meal that I knew would tantalise their tastes buds.
So what did I create?
(Before I go any further I must apologise for the blurring food photo's, new camera so still getting use to it, and everyone was waiting for me to take the food photo's so that they could eat!)
Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato soup, served with Sourdough Rolls with Basil and tomato Butter (vegan of course) which if I do say so myself was DIVINE! The roasting of the tomatoes and red peppers prior to adding to the soup gave this soup a rich flavour.
For the main course which was far more colourful than this photo actually indicates was Root Vegetable Crumble, Stuffed Chillies and Stir Fried Vegetables. The reaction to the vegetable crumble was quite amusing, everyone was only use to having a crumble as a desert, there they stood the four of them thinking this is messing with our brains, this should taste like apples! The chillies were stuffed with quinoa, fenugreek, chopped garlic, tomatoes and soy sauce and oven baked, yummy does not come close to describing their taste. And the vegetable stir fry was a mixture of cauliflower, garlic shoots, red cabbage, olives, red pepper and coriander. The garlic shoots give a vibrant splash of green as well as a tangy spicy taste, delicious!
And desert, for some the 'highlight' of the evenings culinary delights was Chocolate Hazelnut Raspberry Cake served with Coconut and Lime Sorbet....................... followed with green tea for most and slippery elm tea for me. All in all a great night of conversation and laughter, not to mention marvellous food, okay I will mention it!!
